Jimmy Higgins Sr.

Jimmy D. Higgins Sr., died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, in Salem, Ark.

He was born Jan. 9, 1946, in Newport, Ark., to Donald and Venita (Taylor) Higgins.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Higgins; and one sister, Edith Johnson.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Bill) Evans of Buffalo, Mo.; three sons, Jimmy Dean (Diane) Higgins of Traskwood, Rickey (Donna) Higgins of Traskwood and Floyd and Lesha Higgins of Tull; 13 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; siblings, Mary Jones, Curtis Higgins and Roy Don Higgins; and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home. Interment was in Social Hill Cemetery in Benton.
