Carole Jones attends leadership program

Carole Jones of Haskell attended the 52nd-annual National Leadership Forum at Harding University in Searcy.

As part of the forum, students participated in sessions with Dean Sikes of Spirit of American Foundation who talked about "Discover Your Destiny;" Andrew Baker, executive director for the Institute for Church and Family at Harding spoke on "Life is an Attitude;" and Princella Smith, who was youth convention speaker at the Republican National Convention in 2004, spoke about the "the Power of One."

The youth conference focuses on citizenship and principals of democracy.

The forum is sponsored by Arkansas Farm Bureau and the Harding University American Studies Program.
