Betty J. Coppock

Betty J. Coppock, 77, of Benton, died May 6, 2008. She was born March 17, 1931, in the Shaw Community to Eugene and Ethel Parsons. Mrs. Coppock was retired from Sears and worshiped at Saline Missionary Baptist Church in Tull.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, JB Parsons; sister, JoAnn Kritchka; her husband, Gleason Coppock; and two daughters, Doris and Dorothy Coppock.

Survivors include a son, James Gleason Coppock and wife Theresa; daughter, Carol Ann Coney; three granddaughters, Michelle Stuckey, Amy Coney and Alexandera Coppock; and three greatgrandchildren, Chase and Jayme Stuckey and Mya Coney all of Benton.

Services were Friday May 9, at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery in Tull. Bro. Clyde Chenault and Bro. Kim Hammer officiated.
