Charles E. Moore
Charles E. Moore, 69, of Bryant, formerly of Little Rock, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at his home. Charlie was a 1956 graduate of Little Rock Central High School, a member of the Army Reserve from 1956-1960, and a member of the IBEW Local 295 for 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, woodworking, gardening and collecting antiques, and was an avid Razorbacks fan. Charlie was employed by the
Arkansas Gazette for 28 years and worked for the
Arkansas Democrat Gazette for 10 years until his retirement in 2001. Charlie was a lifelong Methodist and recent member of the Henderson United Methodist Church, where he was instrumental in the construction of the family life center. Charlie also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Martin Moore of 48 years; one daughter, Beth Moore and husband Jay of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sons, Jeff Moore and wife Jeanette of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Glen Moore of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Abby Moore of Grand Prairie and Anna and Gracie Moore of Broken Arrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Donna Moore.
