Hunters, anglers can participate in surveys

DO IT MONTHLY STATE GAME AND FISH COMMISSION Hunters and anglers can submit a survey monthly for a chance to win.

Every month, 10 sportsmen and women participating in the AnglerSurvey.com and HunterSurvey. com polls have been awarded $100 shopping sprees to the hunting and fishing retailers of their choice.

At the end of the year, $1,000 gift certificates will be awarded to a randomly-drawn hunter and angler.

For each month an angler or hunter completes the monthly survey, he or she earns an additional chance of winning the $1,000 shopping spree.

Anglers and hunters can take the survey by visiting www.AnglerSurvey. com or www.HunterSurvey. com.

Each month the angler or hunter completes a survey. His or her name will be automatically entered into the year-end drawing.

Only one survey per month per person is permitted.

The drawing will be held Feb. 2, 2009.

One $1,000 winner will be drawn for AnglerSurvey and another $1,000 winner drawn for HunterSurvey.

Results of the surveys are used by fishery and hunting agencies and non-profit sportsmen groups to protect and enhance fishing and hunting opportunities.

Results are also used by fishing and hunting/shooting sports companies to identify sportsmen and women's needs.

All names, contact information and responses are kept completely confidential and are never used for any marketing or sales purposes.
