Charles E. Adcock

Charles E. Adcock, 81, of Bauxite died March 29, 2008, at his home. He was born May 6, 1926, in Warren to Henry Wade and Ethel C. O'Neal Adcock. Mr. Adcock was a commercial painter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Gary Wade Adcock.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Anderson Adcock; five sons, Charles Steven Adcock of Mobile, Ala., Randall Wayne Cordell and wife Toni of Bauxite, Larry Cordell and wife Patty of Bauxite, Robert Cordell of Bauxite and David Cordell of Pine Bluff; six grandchildren, Zachary Adcock of Mobile, Ala., Holly Cordell of Conway and Tiffany Cordell, Christina Cordell, Amanda Cordell, Alex Cordell and Zachary Cordell, all of Bauxite; one sister, Virginia Boddie of Shreveport, La.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 31, at Roller- Ballard Funeral Home (315- 4047) with the Rev. David Walker officiating. Interment followed at Prairie Bayou Cemetery in New De Roche, Ark.
