Drive-through animal shot clinic

The Humane Society of Saline County will be hosting a drivethrough shot clinic for dogs and cats. Dr. Kim Miller will be giving the vaccinations. Volunteers will have the humane society's mobile unit at the Benton Senior Activity Center, 210 Jefferson, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 29. The charge will be $10 (cash only) for each rabies shot and $10 for the annual shot. The event is open to anyone needing to update his pet's shots. Senior residents unable to pay for an animal's shots are urged to contact the Humane Society of Saline County at 557-5518 to see if they qualify for a free or reduced-price voucher for the shots.
