Robert W. Russell

Robert Wayne Russell, 65, of Benton, died Saturday, March 15, 2008. He was born Feb. 14, 1943, in Clarksburg, W.V., to Woodrow Wilson Russell and Ruth Miller Russell. Robert was an executive for Phillips Lighting.

His parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Vonda Russell of Benton; three children, Robert Brian and Sharron Russell of Greenbrier, Natalie and Dr. Michael Beard of Benton and Kevin and Sara Beth Russell of Benton; brother, George and Christine Russell of Shinnston, W.V.; sister, Charlotte and Marion Bice of Mannington, W.V.; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Seth and Luke Russell all of Benton; and his special friend, Muffin.

The family will have a private visitation and a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Saline County Humane Society or North Bryant Baptist Church Building Fund.
