Bertha M. Plumb

Bertha M. Plumb, 93, of Bryant died Saturday, March 15, 2008. She was born July 13, 1914, in Saline County to John and Florence Hopkins of Benton. Mrs. Plumb was a member of the First United Methodist church of Bryant and worked in the Bryant School System until she retired in 1981.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Francis "Puddin" Plumb.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Duncan and husband Donnis; son, Walter Lee Plumb and wife Dorothy; grandson, Chris Duncan and wife Beverly; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Duncan; two step great-grandsons, Adam Husemann and Damian Jurasic; nephew, Johnny Hopkins and wife Louann and her best friend, "Neighbor" Jana McKnight.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Mary Rogers Circle of the First United Methodist Church of Bryant.

Funeral services were Monday, March 17, at The First United Methodist Church of Bryant with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. Dr. Russell Moore officiated.
