Homer Mashburn

Mr. Homer Leon (Sonny) Mashburn, 72, of North Little Rock died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007. He was born Dec. 24, 1934, in Wynne, Ark., to the late John and June Mashburn. Mr. Mashburn was a retired house painter. Two sisters, Leda Carolyn Nahlen and Linda Eloise Owens, preceded him in death.

Survivors are his sons, Hank Mashburn of Alexander and Albert Mashburn of Benton; daughter, Gail Buttrums of Hot Springs; brothers, William Odell Mashburn and wife, Marie, of Alexander and Johnny Wayne Mashburn of Pine Bluff; sisters, Doris Anita (Pat) McDaniel of White Hall, Sarah Evelyn Wilbern and husband, Donald, of Pine Bluff, Judy Ann Denton and husband, Carroll, of Des Arc and Brenda Jean Mason and husband, Elden, of Conway; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services were Thursday at Pinecrest Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home with Paul Mayerhoff officiating.
