Ashley Furniture Homestore teams with kindergarten classes to help feed the hungry

Caroline Ferguson gets ready to put her ornament on her class tree.
Ashley Furniture Homestore and local kindergarten classes have joined to feed the hungry and decorate the store.

Eight kindergarten classes from Bryant and one from Avilla Christian Academy came to the store with homemade Christmas ornaments and spent some time decorating their trees. The kids were encouraged to invite their family and friends to stop by AFHS and vote for their tree with a non perishable food item. The class that collects the most food will be rewarded with a pizza party.

"It was just great to have all the kids come through and spread a little Christmas cheer," said Kristina Prichard, a sales team leader at AFHS. "They did a fabulous job! The ornaments they made are very impressive. We invite you all to come by and vote for your favorite Christmas tree." All food collected will be donated to a local food bank before Christmas.
