Theft of a generator from his pickup parked on Evans Street was reported by Lex Martinez.

The generator was yellow with a black frame. Loss: $300.

Theft of a 2007 Ruff N Tuff cruiser, a 2007 Ruff N Tuff golf cart and a 2007 Big Tex utility trailer was reported by staff of Harmon Outdoors, 610 Highway 5 North, Benton. Loss: $13,000.

A Crystal Drive woman said someone egged her car while it was parked in her driveway.

A number of tools were stolen from his Highway 5 North residence, Jason Hanig said, including: DeWalt 18-volt cordless set (minus the case), including a hammer drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw and charger; a DeWalt drill big set, a DeWalt saw blade set, a DeWalt driver set, a red and silver jamb saw, various Craftsman tools, an 18-inch Stihl chain saw and case, a blue tackle box, a green tackle box and a Horton crossbow. Tools were taken from his truck, carport and a closet. Loss: $1,900.

An Ola woman was charged with her third driving-while intoxicated offense after her Pontiac Grand Am was stopped on Military Road.

Cimalene Hodges, 28, tested 0.16 breath-alcohol content at Saline County jail.

She was also cited for following too [closely], careless driving and failure to dim headlights.

A Benton man and woman face various burglary-related charges after a Highway 5 North break-in.

Taken from the apartment were an Emerson TV, a Durabrand TF and a number of CDs and DVDs. Value: $2,200.

Lloyd Hobbs was charged with theft by receiving and residential burglary.

Lorah Ballard allegedly lied about her involvement and was charged with theft by receiving.

Several items were taken from his 2004 Toyota 4Runner, parked at his Murifield Drive home, Paul White said. Rifles taken were a Ruger M77 boltaction .270 Winchester, a .223 caliber break-action single shot youth rifle, 7-mm magnum with camouflage stock, a camo backpack with clothing, knife and gear, a vehicle DVD player and a Palm Trio. Loss: $1,750.

A patrolling Benton police officer saw a door ajar on Toyota Prius at a White Oak Circle home. A $55 silver watch was missing.

A "very intoxicated" Chapel Ridge Apartments resident said he went to a Clark Street residence to drink beer at 6:30 p.m., and left at 1:30 a.m. to "buy some weed." The complainant said a black male wearing a skull cap began patting him down. The suspect reached into his back pocket, pulled out his wallet and took $300.

The complainant rode his bicycle home.

Deer antlers were taken from his Dodge Ram pickup while it was parked at the Big Red Fina, Kevin Wood said. Loss: $35.
