Carolyn Wiggins

Carolyn Hill Wiggins, 68, of Alexander, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007. She was born on Dec. 18, 1938, to the late Martin Elmo and Helen Massey Hill of Belzoni, Miss. Her proudest accomplishments were the family she raised, the home she helped create and being a Pastor's Wife for 48 years. She was a grand example of a "Woman of God" who will be dearly missed by those who loved her and the many lives she touched. She worked many years in so many capacities, but her most rewarding job for the last seven years was working at the Arkansas School for the Deaf in Little Rock.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 50 years, Dr. Robert E. Wiggins Sr.; daughter, Deborah Hester, son-in-law, Stephen and precious granddaughters, Caroline and Camille, all of Virginia Beach, Va.; son, Bill Wiggins and daughter-in-law, Faye of Memphis, Tenn.; son Robert E. Wiggins Jr., daughter in-law, Melissa and precious grandsons,Devin and Christian, all of Rocky Mount, N.C.; sister, Helen Burnett and brotherin law, Charles of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Jimmy Byrd and sister-in-law, Maxine of Knoxville, Tenn.; and her loving and caring Church Congregation at Woodson Baptist Church in Woodson, Ark.
