Jason Lee Grant
Jason Lee Grant of Benton died Nov. 12, 2007, after a short, but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born March 12, 1974, in Arkadelphia, Ark., Grant and his family have lived in Bryant since 1987. Jason married Jennifer Hawkins on Nov. 4, 1996. Jason and Jennifer were best friends and worked together in the hair industry for the last 11 years.
Grant will be remembered and missed by a host of family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Grant; his parents, Benny and Marcia Grant; his sister, Zoey-Aleasha Grant; his niece, Cecy Grant; his grandparents, Henry and Betty Jones, all of Benton and grandparents Max and Faye Grant of Arkadelphia, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Jason's celebration of life was Thursday, Nov. 15 in the pavilion at Salem Baptist Church. Burial followed at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
Visitation was Wednesday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
Jason's favorite flowers were white mums and daisies.
Family comments: Jason was a delight to all who met him with his outgoing personality and love of life. He lived 33 years enjoying every moment in his own fun loving way.
He never met a stranger and loved to talk. He was a joy to his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Jason was known to say, "I'm not here for a long time, I'm here for a good time."
Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
