A patriotic Veterans' Day assembly hosted by Benton Middle School will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in Butler Auditorium atBenton High School.

A mass flu clinic for county residents will be held at Holland Chapel Baptist Church Family Life Center from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. If covered by Medicare, Medicaid, ARKids or state insurance, bring the card. There is no charge this day for shots.

Saline County author Katherine Adair will be at the Benton Hastings Entertainment store to discuss and autograph her novel, "Saving Hollywood," from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

Court-appointed Special Advocates kicks off weekly bingo games at 6 p.m. Saturday at 3420 Salem Road. A $17 pack will include nine faces, with all proceeds to benefit CASA, a group helping children in need of legal services.
