Lendon Hall Lendon "Peewee" Hall died Sunday morning, Oct. 21, 2007, at his home in Malvern. He was born on May 10, 1928, in the Social Hill area of Malvern Ark. In 1950 he moved to Southern California with his family to work at the Ford Motor Co. He soon started a garage-door business and later an upholstery business. He returned to Malvern in 1972 and operated a farrier business until 1978 when he opened a car restoration and hot rod garage on East Page Street. His brothers, Wayne Hall and Alton Hall; his mother, Lura Wood Hall; his father, Walter David Hall; and his granddaughter, Ari Ballard, preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Rick Hall of Magnet Cove; a daughter, Joy Hall Ballard of Benton; a stepson Robbie Purdy of Malvern; and a stepdaughter, Leslie Purdy-Hoyt of Little Rock. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Brandi Ballard of Hot Springs, Mason Ballard of Ben- ton and Matthew Hall of Magnet Cove; one great-granddaughter, Brookland Hall; his sister, Alice Hall Gage of Hot Springs; his brother, John Hall of Florida; and Bobbie Stroup Sexton of Magnet Cove, Pat Hall of Bismarck, Linda Watson Higgs of Malvern. As per his wishes, there will be no memorial service. A celebration of his life was at his home at 8500 Possum Trot Road in the Oak Grove community near Malvern on Tuesday, Oct. 23. In lieu of flowers, send donations to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in memory of his granddaughter, Ari Ballard. Arrangements were by Regency Funeral Home of Malvern.
