      A Benton man was cited for driving-while-intoxicated after his 2007 GMC pickup was stopped on Gattin Road. Chad Horn, 27, of Madison Village, said he had drunk about eight beers. Police observed his truck cross Benton Parkway's centerline, the fog line and the centerline again.

Bauxite man found guilty of molestation
      A Bauxite man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually molesting his teen-age stepdaughter. A Saline County Circuit Court jury found Charles "Red" Owens guilty of second-degree sexual assault for actions through several years.
