Thelma E. Polk

Thelma E. Polk, 87, of Guy, Ark., died Oct. 11, 2007. She was born Dec. 15, 1919, to the late James and Maude Holt in Yell County. She was of Baptist faith.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Polk; and sons, Ronald, Richard and Gary Polk.

Survivors, son, Dwaine Polk and wife, Alice, of Alexander; daughters, Linda Hester and husband, Leonard, of Alexander, Sharon Rimmer and husband, Johnny, of Guy, Ark.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-greatgrandchildren.

Church services by Ashby Funeral Home were Tuesday at Springhill Baptist Church in Alexander with Bro. Bill Weihe officiating.

Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock, Ark.
