Ruthia Mae Morgan

Ruthia Mae Morgan, 82, of Glen Rose, passed away Oct. 9, 2007. She was born Oct. 29, 1924, in Amity, Ark., to the late William and Amy Adcock. Ruthia was of Baptist Faith. She retired from the

Arkansas Health Center where she worked in the Dietary and Laundry Departments.

Ruthia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie Morgan; son, Wesley Morgan; two sisters; two brothers; sonsin law, Dennis Hawthorne, Don Morrison and W.D. Pierce; and great grandchild, Bryn Harris.

Survivors are daughters, Sue Morrison of Mesquite, Texas, Doris Tucker and husband, Thomas, of Traskwood, Linda Still and husband, Leon, of Haskell, Brenda Raper and husband, Larry of Traskwood, Peggy Pierce of Moss Point, Miss., Janice Hawthorne of Bauxite and daughter-in-law, Nancy Legg Morgan of Traskwood; five brothers; five sisters; 22 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and 10 great-greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers were Kent Ramsey, Kevan Moore, Russell Westbrook, Greg Haynes, Brian Matthews and Charlie Bata.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home were Friday with Bro. Curtis Kyle officiating. Burial was in Fairplay Cemetery.

Family Comments: Ruthia was also survived by a special son-in-law, Orville Loveless of Bauxite.
