Jeffrey Hendrix, 44, of South Circle, Benton, was cited for DWI after testing 0.16 breath-alcohol content at Saline County jail.

He was arrested after Benton police saw his Dodge Caravan drift over the center line a couple of times on Interstate 30's north service road. Once blue lights were activated, the driver slammed on his brakes and stopped in the traffic lane, police said.

Several charges were filed on two Garland County women after a traffic stop near I-30's westbound I-30 Saline River bridge.

Ten bags of suspected marijuana were seized, as well as a digital scale with white residue and a .25-caliber Raven Arms pistol.

Thomeka Jones, 20, of Oak Cliff, Hot Springs, was cited for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Latreese Haywood, 20, of Pine Street, Mountain Pine, was cited for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. She was the driver, and handed the officer a driver's license with another woman's name.

Richard A. Mullins, 42, of Lindsey Drive, Alexander, was cited for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on I-30's south service road, east of Alcoa Road. He tested 0.153 BAC at Saline County jail.

Jeffrey L. Gallion, 24, of Highway 5 North, Benton, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol after his 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe was stopped on Alcoa Road. Gallion said he'd just left Little Rock's Electric Cowboy club, where he had "three or four beers."

Police said a Southern Comfort bottle initially seen in the truck's console was later found behind the driver's seat, almost completely empty.

Mary Hines, 21, of Dreher Lane, Little Rock, was cited for driving while intoxicated, no proof of insurance and crossing the median after police saw her stop under I-30 Alcoa Road overpass and cross the median to Alcoa Road.

Hines said she had "drunk a beer earlier in the day. She tested 0.82 BAC at the scene, and was taken to Saline County jail, where she tested 0.76 BAC.

Pediatric Special Care reported the theft of a Toshiba Satellite laptop computer. The number "10028" is etched on the case. Loss: $1,500.

Benton's Dixie Cafe reported two girls in a silver car left without paying for their meal. Loss: $17.07.

An Aaronfield Road woman said someone unsuccessfully tried to enter her 2003 Nissan Altima by prying the driver's door. Damage: $100.

A DeWalt gasoline-powered pressure washer was stolen from a Bennett Road residence, Eagle Properties said. Loss: $700.
