Lena Faye White

Lena Faye Topping White, age 76, of Benton died this 24th day of Sept. 2007. She was born on Jan. 20, 1931, in Paris, Texas. Mrs. White was a mother and a homemaker and a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.

Her husband, of 48 years, Elbert Leon White, a Reynolds Metal retiree; father, Claude Topping; mother, Bertha Topping Stansell; brother, Chester Douglas Stansell and two grandchildren, Tommy Lee White and Chardon Lanae White, preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Travis Lee White and wife, Betty, of Benton and Donald Lynn White and wife, Robin, of Benton; two daughters, Linda Faye Burnett and husband, Coy, of Hot Springs and Brenda Diane Mask and husband, Spurge, of Benton; three sisters, Irene Topping McMen of Benton, Mary Josephine Topping Nelson of Benton and Mae Stansell Burrow of Malvern; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Travis White, Donald White, Joe Hockersmith, Jr., T.C. White, David Williams and David Gilbert. Anthony Mask served as an honorary pallbearer.

Funeral services were Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Bro. Muncy Harris officiated.

Family Comments: The family wishes to extend a heart felt "thank you" to the Saline Memorial Hospice Health Care Unit and Mrs. Martha for your loving care as well. Bobby Bare sings in a popular country and western song that there ain't no 10's. Well, Bobby Bare never met Lena Faye White.
